About Rose
Rose brings 20 years of experience as a public school counselor and Behavioral Support Specialist. She has worked with youth experiencing anxiety, ADHD, school avoidance, intellectual disabilities, and autism. Rose has also served as a crisis counselor and as a staff member at a summer camp for children with emotional and behavioral needs. She is continuing her training in Christian counseling, trauma-informed care, play therapy, women’s issues, and working toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician.
Rose holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Interpersonal Communications from Salisbury University and a Master of Science in Educational Counseling with a concentration in Deaf Studies from McDaniel College. She became a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in 2025 and received her Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) credential in Maryland earlier this year.
Rose’s approach is genuine, person-centered, compassionate, and positive. She works collaboratively with clients and draws on solution-focused counseling and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Outside of work, Rose has a passion for animals—especially pugs—as well as children, small church groups, the beach, sign language, and movies. Rose hopes to travel more in the future. She has two grown children and a cat named Cleo.
