Njideka Emenyi, DNP, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C  
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Njideka Emenyi “Kem” is a doctoral prepared dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner.  She has diverse experience  providing healthcare services across the lifespan using evidence-based psychiatric and medical treatment focusing on individualized and holistic care. She has worked in various inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings including psychiatry, addiction medicine, women’s health, and primary care. Kem has experience treating multiple mental health disorders including; Anxiety, Depression, Substance Use, PTSD/Trauma, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders, OCD, ADHD/ADD, , Sleep Disorders and more.

Kem completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from the University of Maryland (Magna cum laude). She earned a Masters degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Prairie View A & M University and a Doctorate in Nursing from Liberty University, Virginia. In both programs, she graduated with 4.0 GPA.

Kem is passionate about fighting the stigma of behavioral health and assisting others as they access their own potential for growth and change. Her practice is grounded in a comprehensive patient-centered philosophy that incorporates evidence-based treatment options. Her clinical expertise and extensive experience in diagnosing and management of a wide range of mental health conditions helps her to formulate individualized treatments plans that help patients achieve optimal mental well-being.

Kem strives to cultivate a compassionate, therapeutic, and safe environment for her clients which allow them to feel empowered, identify personal goals, and make informed decisions related to their specific needs. With a profound understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health, she strives to provide non-judgmental and empathic care to help patients regain control of their lives, fostering hope and facilitating their journey towards wellness.
