Wendy Messersmith

Office Manager

Home is where Wendy Messersmith's story begins, literally. She shares her family's small farm with her husband, son and mother where days are filled with fresh air and meaningful work. It's this connection to the land and to family that keeps her grounded, bringing a sense of balance that flows naturally into everything she does.

With more than 25 years of experience keeping offices running smoothly and over two decades as a successful business owner, Wendy has mastered the art of making complex operations look effortless. Her approach? People first, always. She believes that the best systems aren't just efficient, they're designed to support teams, clear away clutter, and create space for everyone to do their best work.

What drew Wendy to Kindred Treatment was simple: the atmosphere felt right. She recognized immediately the team's genuine commitment to making a difference in people's lives, and as a lifelong county resident, the opportunity to contribute close to home made it even more meaningful. For Wendy, great work happens when you care about where you are and who you're working with. At Kindred Treatment, all the pieces fit.

With over 25 years of experience in office management and business ownership, she brings a people-first, big-picture approach to supporting teams and creating efficient, well-organized systems. She is proud to be part of Kindred Treatment Center and deeply values its genuine commitment to helping individuals and families within the community. As a lifelong county resident, she is grateful to work close to home and contribute to meaningful, purpose-driven work. Outside of the office, she enjoys life on a small farm with her husband, son, and mom, spending as much time outdoors as possible and appreciating the simple joys of nature.
