Kindred Treatment Center is proud to introduce Margaret Knight, a highly experienced and double board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in the care of children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 22.
​
She is board certified as both a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CRNP-PNP) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (CRNP-PMH). She brings a wealth of clinical expertise from her extensive work within leading healthcare systems, including Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Maryland Medical System.
Throughout her career, Margaret has provided care across a wide range of specialized settings, including NICU, PICU, pediatric surgery, trauma, cardiology, cardiac transplant, neurology, and neurobehavioral services. Her background also includes inpatient psychiatric care at Sheppard Pratt, where she worked closely with children and adolescents across general and trauma-focused units.

Most recently, Margaret has focused on outpatient mental health services, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults. She is dedicated to ensuring that each patient receives thoughtful, individualized care, with an emphasis on safe, effective, and evidence-based medication management as part of a broader therapeutic approach.
