Since 1991, Lisa has dedicated her career to supporting individuals navigating the challenges of everyday life. With compassion and a deep understanding of human behavior, she has helped countless clients work through personal struggles and find lasting growth.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Baltimore, followed by a Master of Social Work with a clinical concentration from the University of Maryland in 1995. She is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Maryland (LCSW-C) and as a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) in South Carolina. In addition, she is a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor for the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners, the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists, and the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners.

Lisa understands that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming or uncertain. With extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges, she creates a safe and compassionate space where clients feel heard and empowered. She works at a pace that respects each client’s comfort level and blends various evidence-based approaches to tailor each session to individual needs and goals.

 

Lisa’s depth of clinical knowledge and her client-centered approach make her an invaluable asset to Kindred Treatment Center.

 

Outside the therapy room, she enjoys traveling, relaxing by the beach, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
