Lindsey Beder, PMHNP

Lindsey Beder is a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping individuals better understand their mental health and find meaningful paths toward healing and balance. She believes that effective care begins with listening, building trust, and working collaboratively with each patient to develop a treatment approach that supports their unique needs and goals.
Lindsey began her nursing career after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She worked as an intensive care nurse at the University of Maryland Medical Center, including in the COVID-19 ICU, where she cared for critically ill patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. Through this experience, she developed a strong appreciation for the connection between physical and mental health and the importance of compassionate, holistic care.

Motivated by her passion for mental health, Lindsey went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University, specializing in psychiatric–mental health. She works collaboratively with patients to create individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, education, and practical strategies to support long-term emotional wellness. Her clinical interests include ADHD, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and bipolar disorder.
Born and raised in Carroll County, Maryland, Lindsey is grateful for the opportunity to care for individuals in the community she calls home. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with her family and their two dogs, and values the importance of balance, connection, and time in nature for overall well-being
