Kelsey Gary, PMHNP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Kelsey Jenkins is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, holistic mental health care for patients across the lifespan.

Born and raised in Baltimore County, Kelsey returned home after completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama. She began her career at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the pediatric intensive care unit while earning her master’s degree in nursing education from Drexel University. Her time in intensive care highlighted the profound connection between physical and mental health, inspiring her to pursue advanced training in psychiatric care. She went on to complete her post-graduate degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing at the University of Delaware.

Kelsey creates individualized treatment plans that combine evidence-based medication management with the benefits of therapy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and holistic approaches. She approaches each client with empathy and clinical expertise, tailoring care to support their unique needs, values, and goals. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, ADHD, and disordered eating.

With an educational, collaborative approach, Kelsey ensures her clients understand their diagnoses and treatment options. She believes medications, when thoughtfully prescribed, are most effective when paired with psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, and supportive resources. Her goal is to empower clients to take an active role in their mental health journey and to help them build resilience, purpose, and emotional well-being.

Kelsey is excited to join Kindred Treatment Center, where she looks forward to providing compassionate, person-centered care to her new patients. If you would like to connect with Kelsey and begin your journey toward healing and wellness, please contact us today.
