Hannah Burhans, LCPC
Therapist
Hannah Burhans is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who believes therapy works best when it feels like a genuine, collaborative relationship. Her approach is warm, laid-back, and strengths-based, while still offering the structure and support clients need to make meaningful, lasting changes.
She works with adults, teens, and families, helping them navigate life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional struggles, and the lingering impact of past experiences. Hannah’s work is trauma-informed and person-centered, grounded in psychodynamic principles and thoughtfully integrated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method, she carefully tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, personality, and goals.
Hannah views clients as the experts on their own lives. Her role is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where people can feel understood, supported, and free to be themselves. Together, she helps clients explore what’s getting in the way, build on the strengths they already possess, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and fulfilling.
