Emily is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Addiction Counselor who takes a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy—honoring the connection between mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social well-being.

Emily blends evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Informed Care with mindfulness-based techniques and yoga therapy. As a Certified Raja Yoga Teacher and certified personal trainer with a focus in nutrition, Emily brings a truly integrative approach to mental health care.

Her experience spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Emily is skilled in providing individual, family, and group counseling and has worked with diverse cultural and socio-economic populations, including through her time living and working abroad.

 

Emily holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from McDaniel College, graduating summa cum laude, and a Master of Science in Instructional Leadership from Robert Morris University. Her deep commitment to healing the whole person drives her passion for addressing root causes and helping clients move toward clarity, serenity, and personal empowerment.
