Sarah Mazzur, M.S., NCC

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Seton Hill University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She brings a diverse background in mental health care, with experience in case management, substance use treatment, and family-based mental health services. Sarah is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and is currently awaiting credentials as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC).

Sarah has experience supporting children, adolescents, parents, and families through a wide range of challenges. Her clinical work includes helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, mood disorders, and conduct disorders. Her time in family-based services has strengthened her ability to work collaboratively with both individuals and family systems to promote healing, understanding, and positive change.

In her counseling practice, Sarah takes a person-centered and holistic approach, meeting each client where they are. She integrates a variety of evidence-based practices tailored to each individual’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness strategies, and strengths-based approaches.

Sarah is passionate about helping clients grow through self-discovery and empowerment. She believes deeply in the power of the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.
