Cambria Leidy
Clinical Intern
Cambria is a warm, compassionate, and dedicated emerging therapist who approaches each client with authenticity, empathy, and curiosity. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stevenson University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Millersville University.
Working under the supervision of licensed clinicians, Cambria provides therapy to both adolescents and adults navigating a wide range of challenges, including emotional regulation, identity development, relationship dynamics, and life transitions.
At the core of her approach is a deep respect for each client’s unique journey. Cambria believes that clients are the experts of their own experiences and works to foster a collaborative, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel supported and empowered. Her therapeutic style is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy.
Cambria values a holistic understanding of wellness, taking into account the emotional, physical, social, and environmental aspects that influence mental health. She strives to help clients build self-awareness, resilience, and effective coping strategies that support long-term growth.
She has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. Her previous experience at Sheppard Pratt, where she worked one-on-one with students facing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges, continues to shape her compassionate and skillful approach to clinical work.
Outside of therapy, Cambria enjoys spending quality time with friends and family and feels most grounded when she’s outdoors and soaking in the sunshine. She brings that same sense of calm, connection, and presence into her therapeutic relationships.
