Blair Sheldon
Clinical Intern
Blair is currently finishing her Master of Science degree in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health Specialization) at McDaniel. She received her Bachelor of Arts from University of Maryland: Baltimore County. Blair’s clinical foundation is rooted in a person-centered framework in which Blair believes therapy is a collaborative process in which the counselor and client work together to help the client reach their personal goals—whether that’s improving communication, adjusting to life changes, managing emotions, or building healthier coping skills.
Life doesn’t always go as planned, and sometimes challenges show up when we least expect them. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need someone to talk to, you don’t have to go through it alone, Blair is here to support you.
She takes an empathetic and strength-based approach to therapy, integrating techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in understanding how their thoughts impact their feelings and behaviors. Her goal is to guide clients on a journey of self-exploration within a safe, compassionate, and supportive space.
Blair brings a warm, welcoming energy to her work and finds it meaningful to support clients through their personal journeys.
