Liz Kraft, LCPC

Liz began her professional counseling career in 2019 working as an Addictions Counselor and Program Administrator at a co-occurring treatment program, after working two decades in the human services field. Liz has experience treating a variety of symptoms including: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, chronic pain/illness, grief & loss, anger & stress management, and substance use disorder.  Liz is highly experienced in assisting people with developing healthy coping skills, finding life's purpose, implementing self-care, and developing self-esteem.

 

Liz understands that everyone is unique and thus each treatment plan is created individually to ensure that each person achieves goals based on their needs and desires.  Liz's integrative approach to counseling includes person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, gestalt techniques, existential techniques, and motivational interviewing skills.

 

Liz was born and raised in Maryland.  She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at McDaniel College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and a Master of Science degree in Community Mental Health Counseling.  

 

Liz looks forward to meeting each new client she encounters and enjoys assisting individuals identify their path to align their dreams, ideals, and values for who they desire to become.
