Christina Bateman, LMSW
Christina holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and is licensed to practice in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. As a compassionate and dedicated therapist, she specializes in individualized treatment that is person-centered, trauma-informed, and holistic. Christina believes each client is the expert in their own life and strives to create a safe and supportive environment where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Christina acknowledges the profound impact trauma can have on mental, emotional, and physical well-being. By integrating evidence-based techniques with a holistic perspective, she helps clients develop the skills and resilience needed to navigate life’s challenges.

Before joining Kindred Treatment Center, Christina worked as a mobile therapist in a community-based psychiatric program, delivering mental health treatment to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. She also has experience supporting adult survivors of interpersonal violence and advocating for essential services and support for individuals facing unexpected catastrophic diagnoses.
​
In her spare time, Christina enjoys quality moments with her son, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming, walking her dog, and participating in community events. These activities enrich her understanding of holistic health and contribute to a balanced lifestyle.
With empathy, compassion, and deep respect for each client’s journey, Christina is dedicated to facilitating meaningful change and supporting individuals on their paths to healing and wellness.
